We can only hope for as entertaining a contest as we saw last year. Sydney has a gear that can blow a game open when they find it. They seem to be hitting it more frequently over the last month and I believe they will find it again and some stage today.
Brisbane have obviously played well to get here but their penchant for turnovers has cost them games this year and almost the last two finals also. Sydney, surprisingly, has not been great in clearances and contested ball throughout the season. The style they play is focused on pressure, forcing turnovers and doing the small things well.
This is a bad matchup for Brisbane and with Mcinerney out and Neale carrying injury, I don’t believe the Lions can get the job done.
